“Great value! A bit cheesy decoration inside but very clean and comfortable. The room and the bathroom were big! Breakfast awesome. Lily and Hans were super.”

“Location: good central location in Bacharach. Not far from the train station and the ferry (which you can hour long scenic trip down the Rhine to Saint Goar and see the ruins, then take the train back) Service: Very polite desk service and breakfast service. Front desk closes around 6:00pm for check-in but can vary. Breakfast: Good selection of meats, cereal bar, bread bar, scrambled eggs and hard boiled eggs. Hot coffee, hot chocolate and tea if you ask. Rooms: Very quiet, there is a bit of door opening noise if your near the stairs, but not loud. Our room was spacious and overlooked a patio. Additional: There is no elevator, they will help with luggage if asked.”

“I stayed here for one night while visiting Germany in the summer of 2025. The hotel is nice. The rooms have been recently renovated. The air conditioning worked well, though it wasn't really needed since the weather was very nice. I did enjoy cooling down before bed. I was in a room at the very top of the hotel and there is no elevator. There are 92 steps to reach the top. Breakfast was nice if basic. The lobby is very nice. I would have liked spending more time in the hotel, but I was in town to hike and enjoy the outdoors.”

“We need a great stay- the hotel is charming and the owners were very helpful. The rooms are air conditioned - we didn't need it during our stay. Bacharach is a charming little town and the perfect base for exploring the Rhine valley by boat, bike of train.”
